The Social Network

Couple of days ago I first turned on TV after more than 3 months. Accurately skipping public channels, I went for the cable. I started watching again "The Social Network". This movie is made by unconventional linguistic patterns, but still it has been promoted as mainstream. And it's about the genesis of facebook. Anyway, while watching it a few things came up in my mind:

1 - I talked to some italian filmmakers that didn't see it, didn't know what the hell was facebook. They are not young anymore and didn't show any interest in knowing at least one of the two things. I would like to say to these gentlemen: fuck you, you have no idea how the world is going on but you still want to make movies because you think you have something important to say. It's because of people like you that there are so many shitty movies in Italy.

2 - "Did u see The social Network?" "Did u like The Social Network?". I think I will learn a little bit more about people by asking these two simple questions. When I first saw the trailer I couldn't wait to see the movie. Ask yourself: would I be excited to see a movie about the genesis of an idea that is changing the world I'm living?

3 - I didn't miss TV at all and I'm still not watching it. You live more happy without TV. Just use it for movies and good series (Dexter, Californication, Family Guy, etc.). But you can watch those things on your computer too.

See you soon, enjoy the website ;-)
